Inside huge new adventure play area which has just opened at Leicestershire garden centre

Leicestershire's newest indoor adventure play area is open for business and ready for families with young children to spend the day - and leave ready for naptime. Sunnyside Adventure Play has just opened at Sunnyside Garden Centre in Ibstock, and, according to the owner, it features the largest indoor adventure play frame in Leicestershire.

Suitable for children up to the age of 12-years-old, the five floor play frame includes more than 100 features to explore, including a four lane Astra slide, a spiral slide, drop slides, blaster cannons, ball showers, cargo nets, tunnels and even a self-contained football pitch. There are also separate areas for babies and toddlers.

Along with the play area, a new cafe has also opened. These two areas make up the first phase of a new development at the garden centre. Sunnyside Adventure is a new family entertainment centre, which will also soon feature an 18 hole adventure golf course, The Secret Garden, along with new casual dining restaurant, The Potting Shed. These are both set to open later this year.
